Croyde Kaya Birth Stool

Designed to support the most natural positioning during labour and delivery.

Contoured Ridge

The stool’s contoured ridge optimizes contact with the ischial tuberosities in the seated or supported squatting positions, leaving the birth canal unobstructed.

Integrated handles offer additional security for stability.

The stool is highly versatile and supports a wide range of squatting, kneeling, rocking and lunging positions.

Water Birth Friendly

The stool is completely waterproof and can be fully submerged in water.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the lead times ?

Approx 4 weeks

How much weight can the Kaya Stool support ?

It can safely support up to 317kg

Could the stool break or collapse during usage ?

It has been tested at weights exceeding 907kg in a laboratory setting. At no point will the material burst or tear in any way. When the stool has surpassed its maximum weight capacity, the material will very gradually deform in a way that the material cannot recover from, meaning the product will be permanently damaged. This means that even under extreme circumstances, the stool will never ‘give out’ in a way that would cause risk of harm to your patients

What is the warranty ?

2 years

What colour options are there ?

The stool is lilac purple

How can they be cleaned ?

The single part design makes the stools easy to clean and disinfect in a hospital setting. The stools can be easily wiped down with a chlorine based solution, hospital wipes or any medical grade disinfectant.  They are also waterproof so can be completely immersed in water if required
