QED Controlled Drug CRT cabinets provide top security and compliance for storing controlled substances. They also feature integrated temperature control to maintain drug efficacy and reduce waste.

REDUCING MEDICINAL WASTE

Controlled drugs typically need to be stored below 25°C to maintain their effectiveness, especially during warmer weather. As such, they are best stored in Controlled Room Temperature (CRT) conditions.

The QED CD-CRT Cabinets provide a reliable solution, helping to prevent medicine spoilage and reduce waste caused by improper storage - all whilst meeting the security requirements for the storage of controlled substances.

HIGH SECURITY

The QED CD-CRT Cabinets are all fully compliant with all current legislation for the storage of controlled drugs, including the Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations 1973, and BS2881 and BS3621 standards.

Each cabinet is supplied with appropriate fixings for a solid wall and features an anti-pick, anti-jemmy lock, ensuring maximum security and protection against unauthorised access. 

ENHANCED TEMPERATURE CONTROL

PRECISE TEMPERATURE MONITORING

The temperature of the CD-CRT Cabinets is factory set to control between 15°C and 25°C, with accurate readings shown on the digital display for reliable temperature monitoring. If temperatures move outside of this range, integrated audio-visual alarms instantly alert you, so you can take action right away.

CRT CABINET COMPATIBLE

Certain sizes of the QED CRT Cabinets and QED MED-CRT Cabinets can be fitted with the QED Controlled Drug Cabinet, offering a space-saving solution to those requiring temperature controlled storage for both general medication and controlled drugs.
